Welcome

Placed in the beautiful countryside of Spoleto, Podere Bosco will offer you a beautiful holiday of nature and art.

The property, surrounded by 11 hectars of land, was acquired by Umberto Palmieri in 1915 (hotelier in Spoleto), then passed onto his son Bosco: the 'podere' is named after him.

The farm is still managed by Elda, Bosco's son, and includes also over 800 olive trees in the surrounding hills, which make an excellent extra vergin olive oil.

The XVII century tower is the most ancient part of the area: it is the the pulsing hearth of the main house, and shares with it the hospitality area.

The tower includes 4 finely refurbished double bedrooms, with original wall decorations, wooden ceilings, all furnished mainly with family antiques, and the ground floor living room with an original cotto ceiling with 'crociera' vaults.

It is surrounded by a large garden dominated by secular chestnut tree and bed of reeds, and other buildings (all restored - former stables, farm storage, hen house, dwells) that create a beautiful 'antico borgo' atmosphere.
